12.11.17: Pero Perros
Wow, so many things happen in one week I don't even know where to begin. The Lord truly blesses us everyday with miracles. It is amazing to see the hand of God not only in our personal lives, but the lives of all the people we love. I know that God truly knows all of us and has an individual plan for every one of his children.
The heartbreak of this week is our adorable, little friend Nerea. She was planning on getting baptized this coming Saturday, but in the end we are going to have to postpone it. Nerea is truly amazing, she is 13 and lives with her single mom and 6 year old sister. She has already been through so much heartbreak and pain in her life, but she is so strong. She has a lot of pressure from her grandparents and her mom to do the Catholic communion and is so worried about offending them and has started having doubts about what to do. She needs some special prayers! I just love her so much and want so badly for her to have the blessing of baptism and the Holy Ghost to guide her throughout all of the difficulties of life.
On a lighter note--I almost got kicked out of one the member's houses this week for scaring their dog, hahaha. They have a little, yappy dog that would not leave me alone. I tried everything, but nothing worked! Finally, I saw a terrifying doll/clown thing on the shelf next to me and decided that it would be a good way to fend off the perro...turns out that it worked, but the member came out of the kitchen and saw the struggle I was going through and started yelling at me in Spanish because apparently I almost killed her dog, haha. She was convinced that her dog could die if it gets too scared because apparently that happened to her other one(?). Jajajaja Whoops!
Anyway, I am as loco as ever. Hope everyone is doing well and living it up for me! Stay gold <3
