1.22.18: Testimony of our Savior's Love & Camino de Santiago

Wow, another week llena  [mom translate: "filled" ] with milagros  ["miracles"] ! We are so blessed! Somehow despite all of our imperfections with the language and everything the Lord manages to use us as tools to carry out His work.  I know that when we truly do all that we can, no matter how pathetic it is, the Lord truly does make up the rest!  The highlight of this week was yesterday because 3 of the less active members that we have been working with came to church for the first time in a long time! Wow, I cannot even describe how happy it made my heart to see all of them progressing and growing their faith in Jesus Christ. As missionaries we are blessed with an additional capacity to feel the pure love that God has for all of His children and to glimpse them through His eyes. He loves us for who we are, but more importantly He loves us for who we can become. Our Heavenly Father sees and loves us for our divine potential and never, ever gives up on us. Beca...

Wow, what even happened this week? It has been a blur of knocking buildings, trying not to get too soaked by the rain, and talking to everyone we see with painfully bad accents (that's what happens when the Mexicana leaves;)) hahahaha! I just ADORE everything about Pamplona.  It is a true JOY to be a missionary and represent my Savior Jesus Christ in this beautiful city. <3  One of my goals for the new year is to read the New Testament to learn more about the life of Jesus Christ.  I love this --> John  16:33  "...that in me, ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world"<--- It is true, our Savior Jesus Christ overcame the world! I have come to know more than ever before in my life that He really is our rock. He descended below it all so that He could walk with us and carry us throughout every tribulation. He loves US --and as we come to understand the magnitude of His sacrifice for us-...

Well, another transfer, another comp...so far I have changed companions every transfer! Hermana Espinoza left this morning to Badalona (outside of Barce) and my new companion, Hermana Call arrived  from  Bilbao! I don´t have much time because we have been around with suitcases all day, but I am excited to get to know Hermana Call and continue working here in Pamplona Paradise:) Hahaha, this morning Hermana Espinoza almost missed her train because we missed the bus stop, and we ended up having to run to the train station dragging her huge suitcases...jajaja.  It is always an adventure here. Yesterday, we ate with an adorable old man in the ward. He is 80 something yrs old.  Everyone calls him Diegito. He made us ´"migas" which is supposedly a Spainiard thing. It is basically soggy bread with oil that tastes/looks like it is half chewed, and served with grilled pimientas and whole cloves of garlic, (it is not as bad as it sounds). Hahaha, he i...

Wow wow wow! Cannot believe that it is 2018! Hope everyone had the best Christmas! It is such a blessing to be on the mission during Christmas time and feel the special spirit during this time of year. I love that the world is a little more focused on our Savior Jesus Christ. His life and sacrifice really are the greatest gift we could ever receive. It is only through him that we have the opportunity to improve ourselves and conquer all our weaknesses and imperfections. I am so grateful for my Savior and Redeemer and the blessing to be a representative of Him here in Spain. <3  Last preparation day we went to San Sebastian with 2 girls from our ward and it was the besttttt. It is a gorgeous city on the northern coast of Spain. I forgot how much I loveeee the ocean (ok, actually that is a lie, I just hadn't seen it in a really longgggg time)!  Also, We may or may not have gone swimming... haha defs not allowed in the mission. But what did happen is w...
