Adoring the Spain Barcelona Mission

Well I have officially reached missionary status--yesterday at the gym we worked out while listening to hymns (because that is the only music we are allowed to listen to)... what has my life become?! Jajajajaja This week while teaching our "investigator" my comp was explaining to him that God has a body of flesh and bones, but she said "Dios tiene un cuerpo de carne y juevos (eggs)" instead of huesos (bones). Hahahahaha- so I guess we were all created in the image of breakfast burritos?? Every week when we go to the park we have a different companion. I got paired with an adorable girl from the Czech Republic who speaks English, Spanish, and obviously Czech. She is the first Czech missionary to EVER GO TO SPAIN!! She was so excited to do missionary work that she was literally running up the stairs in the metro dragging me behind her! I am half way done with my mtc experience!! Que?! The weeks are starting to fly by already. We learn so much everyday, I think my brain is really close to MAX CAPACITY!  It is fun to be in a smaller mtc because I really have gotten to know everyone here pretty well. I adore all of the other hermanas! They are just adorable. I think some of them are more mature than I will EVER be, jajaja. ALSO EVERYONE here has some sort of musical talent (except me, obviously), but oh well...what can we do??! By the end of every day we are laughing ourselves to tears because we are hysterical and EVERYTHING is funny at that point.  One of the best parts of this week was the parque. It is a big park in the middle of Madrid, kind of like Central Park in New York with a bunch of paths and trees and fountains, etc. I didn't hand out any Book of Mormons and most people didn't really want to hablar at all, but I did have the good fortune of coming across some old Chinese ladies doing tai chi......

 GUYS!! It has been two weeks since I've been a missionary. It kind of feels like 2 years, but also like 2 days... I DON'T EVEN KNOW!! We pack so much into one day here, I am emotionally exhausted by the end of every day. My favorite part is when we have an hour for "deportes", haha. The weather this week was so gorgeous! We don't get to go outside very much, but every room has giant windows that open and  the trees on the temple grounds smell so glorious! We also finally got to go inside the temple today, which was the BESTTTT!! There have been a lot more people on the grounds because the temple just reopened  on Tuesday . They have a bunch of dorm room type things for people to stay in underneath the mtc floors because people come from all over. APPRECIATE YOUR TEMPLES PEOPLE!! Most of us are blessed to live close to a temple, and we forget how much some people have to sacrifice just to go to the temple once a year!! Also kind of a big deal... I gave a...

First Sign that She Made the Flight: Hola,   I am alive (mostly). I think that is the longest I have ever sat in my lifeeeee. It is like the afternoon our time and I am ready to run a freaking marathon, but we are supposed to go to bed?? QUE??
