3.19.18: GOLD

Another week full of beautiful places and people here in San Sebastian! Wow, we have seen so many miracles this week! I cannot believe how good God has been to us. Hermana Jenkins and I have been so blessed!  Our mission has had a slow start to the year with baptisms, so we are doing a month long fast where every district takes a turn fasting for 24 hours. This week it was our district's turn  on  Friday/Saturday. Literally 2 hours after we started fasting, we met with a woman who the elders contacted on the street over a month ago....  Finally meeting with her, in and of itself, was a miracle! However, while we were talking with her on a bench, one of her friends walked by and came up to us. She started talking to us like we had met before and Hermana Jenkins and I were both really confused. I kept looking at my comp hoping she knew who this woman was because I, for sure, didn't!  It turns out that we had contacted her in my first week here, but it was late...

3.12.18: Manu's Miracle

This week has been marvelous! I love San Sebastian and still cannot believe that it is real life that I live here, and even better, I get to be a missionary here! God is so good to me, and I feel so blessed!  The miracle of this week is Manu. He came to stake conference yesterday! Stake conference is in Bilbao which is about an hour and a half away.  So we take a bus all together as a ward. Manu lives in a pueblo about 40 mins away from San Se. He told us that he was not going to come if his car didn't work. (His car is ancient and never works.  It is literally older than I am and never works!)  But yesterday morning, Manu got in his car and turned the key and the engine started right away! It was a literal miracle! I know that it was a blessing from God that his car worked and he was able to come. I know that he felt the Spirit and we are excited to be able to keep teaching him. He has been an investigator for a long time and we have been praying to know if we ...

3.5.18: Spain is So Underrated!

Ok, wow! I don't have much time today because we got back late from preparation day craziness....  We went to a place called "San Juan" and wow, wow, wow... I cannot believe how blessed I am to be here! MY LIFE IS SO GOOD! The pics really cannot capture the charm of this place. <3 God is so good to me! I still cannot believe that I am a missionary in San Sebastian! I feel like I am walking around in a postcard all day! The only thing more beautiful than this city are the beautiful people here! I love being a missionary because you can really feel the pure love that the Savior has for everyone of the people that we teach! The ward members here are fabulous!  On  Saturday, we had a ward activity where all the missionaries sat up in the front of our tiny little capilla  [chapel]  and they took turns asking us questions. The whole time I couldn't stop thinking about how weird it is that they trust everything we say....  We are literally 20 year...
