3.12.18: Manu's Miracle

This week has been marvelous! I love San Sebastian and still cannot believe that it is real life that I live here, and even better, I get to be a missionary here! God is so good to me, and I feel so blessed!

The miracle of this week is Manu. He came to stake conference yesterday! Stake conference is in Bilbao which is about an hour and a half away.  So we take a bus all together as a ward. Manu lives in a pueblo about 40 mins away from San Se. He told us that he was not going to come if his car didn't work. (His car is ancient and never works.  It is literally older than I am and never works!)  But yesterday morning, Manu got in his car and turned the key and the engine started right away! It was a literal miracle! I know that it was a blessing from God that his car worked and he was able to come. I know that he felt the Spirit and we are excited to be able to keep teaching him. He has been an investigator for a long time and we have been praying to know if we should keep working with him or drop him and hope that someday he will be ready....  But after the miracle of yesterday, I know that God sees the potential in him and that if we follow His Spirit we will be able to help Manu understand and come unto the Savior!

This week...it snowed! I swear the snow is following me, jajaja.  People told us it hasn't snowed here in like 7 years...Que suerte [Lucky]!  It was pretty, but also coldddd. But it's fine because the next day was like 60 degrees, so it all works out. As they say here- "Un poco de todo" (a little bit of everything!). I had never seen snow en la playa [on the beach] before!!

Also today, we went to the most northern part of our mission and we could see France across the bay! It was so gorgeous! MY LIFE IS SO GOOD!!!

Some words of wisdom from stake conference yesterday...

"YOU WILL NEVER BE HAPPIER THAN YOU ARE GRATEFUL"
^^^^^

I love you all, and I hope you all are loving life! God is so good to us! <3
