1.22.18: Testimony of our Savior's Love & Camino de Santiago

Wow, another week llena [mom translate: "filled"] with milagros ["miracles"]! We are so blessed! Somehow despite all of our imperfections with the language and everything the Lord manages to use us as tools to carry out His work.  I know that when we truly do all that we can, no matter how pathetic it is, the Lord truly does make up the rest!

The highlight of this week was yesterday because 3 of the less active members that we have been working with came to church for the first time in a long time! Wow, I cannot even describe how happy it made my heart to see all of them progressing and growing their faith in Jesus Christ. As missionaries we are blessed with an additional capacity to feel the pure love that God has for all of His children and to glimpse them through His eyes. He loves us for who we are, but more importantly He loves us for who we can become. Our Heavenly Father sees and loves us for our divine potential and never, ever gives up on us. Because of this eternal love, God provided for us a Savior, Jesus Christ, to make it possible for us to reach our divine potential. I am so grateful to bring people the beautiful message of the reality and existence of our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ<3

Today we caminar-ed [awesome Spanglish: walked] part of the "Camino de Santiago" which is apparently a big deal.  It is some kind of religious journey that starts in France and goes all the way through Spain, ending in Santiago (Spain). People backpack it, and it can take up to 2 weeks for the whole thing! All of the hills are gorgeous because they are so green, and we ended up exploring some old abandoned castles. And wow!, Spain is so beautiful!  And wow, I have no more email time!

Anyway, I love you all and hope all is well. Stay gold <3
