12.4.17: Pamplona Paradise (???)
Ok, well surprise! On Friday, we woke up and there it was snowing! Um, what?! So not prepared for this, hahahaha. My "6-8 missionary outfits" that I was instructed to bring defs did not include any snow gear, hahaha. My comp was stoked out of her mind because she had never seen snow before, so really it was a blessing in disguise. I just love the mission and all of the crazy things that happen!
Wow Pamplona is the best! (Other than the fact that it is cold;)) The ward members are so loving and I am so excited to get to know them all better! On Saturday we had a baptism of an investigator that has been investigating for about 3 months and has had a crazy life. He is from the Dominican Republic and has an accent that is super raro but luckily my nativa comp is always here to save the day! It was so wonderful to watch him make the covenant of baptism with the Lord and have the opportunity to be washed clean and start a new life as a disciple of Christ! It truly is amazing to see how the universal power of the atonement can truly touch and change hearts! I am eternally grateful for the sacrifice of my Savior, Jesus Christ and the opportunity to be a representative of His here in Spain.
Also, people have started asking me if I'm from Russia because I am literally so white! I look like a ghost, hahaha. What can ya do? I hope all my pals in California will enjoy the sun a little extra for me! Never forget how blessed you are!
Love you all!
Stay gold<3
