4.30.18: God is REAL
Well, not much time today (what is new?).
God is so good to us here in San Sebastián. I am reminded over and over that this work is in no way our own; God really is in every detail! (Wow, sorry...I am such a missionary! Whoops!) Yesterday at church, a man who met with the hermanas about 4 years ago came to sacrament meeting and told us that once he quits smoking he wants to get baptized...um ok, Sure. We were amazed! Somehow we have no record of him in our area book or anything, but he says he has lived here for 9 years (He is originally from the Ukraine) and he has even met our mission president. I am sure that he has other difficulties to overcome, but we were shocked that he just showed up to church on his own. It really is true that if God does not lead us to them, He will lead them to us! All I can say is GOD IS REAL!
The ward here is quite a unique mix of people from all different parts of the world, and almost every week we have random tourists too. Also the bishop is a convert from Cameroon! I just adore all of the diversity here in Spain--it is a BEAUTIFUL thing! It is so fun to be able to learn more about other cultures! Today we went to the aquarium with the bishop and the "young women"! Ahhhh my life is so good!
I hope you are all living the STOKE ;)
