10.23.18: Badalona Banished

Ok, well... one last heartbreak to round things off nicely...after praying all transfer that I could stay in Valencia, I have been transferred to Badalona (part of Barcelona) for my last transfer of my mission! I went 13/13, I never had a companion for more than one transfer. Jajaja, no one could handle me for any longer, I guess! But ya, I had to rip my heart away from all the beautiful souls in Valencia and my heart is broken once again.  But God is humbling me and helping to learn how to accept His will even when it is not my own. But I am trying to have a good attitude.  I know God has sent me here for a reason...I don't know what He wants from me, but I am going to try to give it to Him.

I will treasure my time in Valencia FOREVER and I will never forget all of the miracles that I found in that beautiful place. <3

This week was a straight LOCURA [crazy one] once again... :

--there was a crazy, once every 10 years, rain in Valencia and the piso [apartment] next to ours flooded because their terrassa[balcony] was clogged.  But no one lives there right now, and I hopped the wall (6 stories high, jajaja) to unclog the drain....  Then all of the vecinas [neighbor ladies] came up and made a big fuss about it all for like 2 hours even though we had already solved the problem in like 5 mins, jajaja.  Classic! Mujeres [women]....what can ya do?

--because of the flood, the elevator was broken and we had to take my suitcases down 6 flights of stairs this morning! Good times!

--Dana and Fernando (the ninos [children] that got baptized my first few months here) were part of the primary program yesterday in the ward.  They are adorable and have my whole heart.

--there was a quinceañera in the church and a candle was dedicated to me and my comp, but we left early jajaja....  The entire thing was beautifully/painfully awkward all at once, jajaja.

Quotes of gold:
"I am allergic to the cold" -Jimena (woman that got baptized a few months ago)...  Same here, I feel ya, Girl!

"God hammer her" - Georgeline (woman from Nigeria.  She is pure gold)...she was talking about a poor woman who just had a really bad motor accident who has made some bad choices in her life.

Well, I love and adore you all!  I hope all is well in your worlds! God is so GOOD to us and life is BEAUTIFUL no matter where we are. <3
I adore being a missionary and representing my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and loves everyone of us.

Oh, also my comp is Hermana Bockova! She is from the Czech Republic and is the most adorable thing ever! She is the first missionary from her entire country to serve in Spain! I am excited to learn new things from her! Also we were in the mtc together and were comps for a few hours one day when we went to the parque [park]which is fun. ;)

Ok, this is too long....  I'm done now. Love you all!
