11.12.18: GOOD times in BADalona
Life is so good in Espana! I cannot believe how blessed I am to live here!
This week was a whirlwind....
I had my last zone conference ever...! We always learn a lot of good things, but it's exhausting to be sitting for so long. You would think I would get used to it as a missionary but ....not so much! But it's always fun to see my pals from other parts of the mission.
Also, I got to see a bunch of my comps and other hermanas from my mtc group because the day after zone conference we had a meeting with an Area 70 (church leader) that came to talk to us. I adore them all. <3 Also, I had to give my going home testimony, which isn't even fair because I still have a month worth of things to learn. Not sure if any of what I said made sense because it's impossible to express everything that I feel. So many emotions all at once...I was a mess (but what's new?!).
Yesterday, we got another good dose of (zero) talent show.... Our church is in the center of Barce and there was a big street festival going on during relief society jajajaa. There was some high-quality karaoke right outside the window. They were singing some good old American classics and I was really struggling to pay attention. Life is so BEAUTIFUL. <3
The best part of yesterday is that the recent converts that got baptized a few months before I got here got THEIR TEMPLE RECOMMENDS!! They are an adorable young couple from Paraguay and I am so excited for them. <3
Weekly GOLD... by Elder Uchtdorf:
"Many of the things you can count do not count; many of the things you cannot count really do count." ☆
I love you ALL. I hope you all are living the dream because God is so good to us and life is BEAUTIFUL no matter where we are.
Stay gold everyone.
